Program Details:
- The tax credit allows eligible parents to claim a tax credit to pay for education-related expenses, including nonpublic school tuition, books, tutoring, curriculum, and certain transportation expenses.
- Tax credits range between $5,000 per student or up to $7,500 for children with qualifying disabilities.
- Priority will be given to households at or below 300% of the federal poverty level, which equals $93,600 for a family of four.
- The program is capped at $50 million.
- Families can continue to apply until March 15, 2026, and applications will be processed in the order they are received.
