As additional details of the Education Freedom Tax Credit (EFTC) are anticipated later this month, we are excited to announce our continued commitment to supporting Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) with the launch of the next cohort of the SGO Start-Up Accelerator.
The SGO Start-Up Accelerator Cohort 2 is an intensive and innovative program designed to support the next generation of Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) and their leaders.
With the continued growth of education freedom policies across the nation, including the imminent launch of the EFTC, now is the time to ensure these programs are designed with families at the center from day one.
We’re looking for 10 to 12 passionate leaders ready to launch family-first SGOs that serve their communities with excellence and sustainability.
What We’re Offering:
- Cohort-based learning with ongoing mentorship, an in-person bootcamp, virtual workshops, and case studies
- Support services including legal guidance, design, and fundraising training
- Access to a network of SGO Start-Up Accelerator Cohort alumni
- Microgrants ($10,000–$20,000) for operational readiness
- Additional grant funding opportunities for top performers
Applications are due by October 13, 2026, and accepted cohort members will be notified no later than October 26, 2026. The cohort will kick off with an in-person launch in Arlington, Virginia, on November 9–10.
