A new survey by yes. every kid. foundation. reveals just how important education freedom is to Republican primary voters across South Carolina.

While nearly nine-in-ten (87%) likely Republican primary voters support school choice, fully 73% said they would be more likely to vote for a candidate in the Republican gubernatorial race who prioritized giving K-12 families more choices in how they can educate their children.

The survey also found:

  • 72% of likely Republican primary voters said President Trump’s support of universal school choice makes them more likely to choose a governor who supports universal school choice.
  • 79% of likely Republican primary voters in the state support South Carolina’s Education Scholarship Trust Fund Program.

“Republican primary voters across South Carolina care deeply about education freedom and believe in expanding options to all families. These poll results are in line with a national trend – where families throughout the country want education policies aligned with their values.”

Matt Frendewey, vice president of strategy, yes. every kid. foundation.
