BISMARCK, North Dakota — A new poll conducted by Arc Insights on behalf of yes. every kid. foundation. found that more than two-thirds of North Dakotans support school choice, with 41% in strong support.
When it comes to Education Savings Accounts, more than six-in-ten likely voters support an ESA program in North Dakota, with high support across political and cultural demographics.
Furthermore, support for school choice is a key factor for North Dakotans when they’re selecting their state legislators. A majority of voters (54%) are more likely to support a legislator if they support ESAs, about half of whom are much more likely.

Nearly eight-in-ten likely voters (78%) say it is extremely or very important that the State Legislature work to improve K-12 education in the next legislative session.
The poll was conducted by Arc Insights from October 9-12, 2023. It surveyed 400 likely 2024 voters across North Dakota with a margin of error of ± 5%.
